Story Time Permissions Info

Hi! We want you to read our feminist books to your audiences—we love it.

A few requests:

Please notify us via email at jb@dottirpress.com when you want to post or stream a story time, read-aloud video, or live event with the subject line: Storytime Temporary License.

In the email, include your contact info, name and address of the school, library, or bookshop, and the title and author of the book to be read.

Once you’ve made your video (or planned the live stream) please send us links to the event/s when they post and tag @dottirpress and the author’s social accounts.

Have the reader say at the top of the video:

"Today [Insert Date] I'm reading a great book called [Name of Book], written by [Name of Author/s] and illustrated by [Name of Illustrator]. Thank you to Dottir Press and the creators for permission to share the book with you. Please go to DottirPress.com or your favorite bookstore to order your own copy."

 Add the language above (or similar) into the comments or somewhere in the social postings, too.
