Michelle is the author of seven memoirs (including Against Memoir and the forthcoming Knocking Myself Up), four novels (including Black Wave) and the creator of multiple cultural interventions such as Drag Queen Story Hour, RADAR Productions, Sister Spit, Mutha Magazine, the queer imprint Amethyst Editions, and the podcast Your Magic. Her children's books include Astro Baby and the Astro Pals series with illustrator Mike Perry.
